RHAB-YESS FACILITATES SUSTAINABLE FUTURE THROUGH MASTERCLASS FOR A’IBOM YOUTH

RHAB-YESS Foundation has facilitated a Master-Class on writing and protocol for youths of Akwa Ibom State, knowing that the development of human capacity is the best sustainable empowerment for any person.

The event, which had its resource persons drawn from reputable institution and selected by the Uyo Book Club, took place at Watbridge Hotels, Uyo, on Wednesday.

Speaking with journalists shortly after the event, a Manager of the Foundation and Special Assistant to the Speaker of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly on Media and Communications, Mr. Darlington Udobong, said the “training is designed to not only teach the A to Z of writing and protocol, but it also empowers participants with cutting-edge knowledge and skills for improved, better service delivery.”

He said the Foundation, which is the brainchild of Rt. Hon. Aniekan Etim Bassey, a philanthropist and a public servant, “is passionate about the sustainable future of every Akwa Ibom youth and will go to any length to invest in them.”

“The Foundation has been deliberate in all its programmes including scholarship, healthcare delivery, and youth empowerment. Our entrepreneurship programme is aimed at discovering, mentoring and supporting young entrepreneurs (of Akwa Ibom origin) to financial greatness and self-sustainability. In all, the Foundation’s commitment to promoting the wellbeing of youths, children and women is unparalleled,” he explained.

This is the first phase of our Master-Class training, which is specifically for 10 youths and anchored by Dr Udeme Nana. We will up the number as we progress. We have a lot more to come. It is our hope that RHAB-YESS Foundation will someday become a world-class provider of social welfare that stands as a benchmark in rural healthcare delivery, skill acquisition, entrepreneurship and educational support.
