PDP WILL COMPLY, COLLABORATE WITH INEC, SECURITY AGENCIES – PAUL EKPO

The Akwa Ibom State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Obong Paul Ekpo, has reaffirmed the Party’s commitment and resolve to continuously comply and collaborate with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies.

Obong Ekpo stated this on Thursday when a joint Team of the Commission and security agencies visited the State Secretariat of the party to carry out its routine verification exercise.

Receiving the team, the State PDP Chairman, who thanked the visitors for the honour done the party, reiterated the party’s commitment to compliance with the Commission’s guidelines to ensure smooth preparation for the 2019 general election, which according to him, will free and fair exercise.

In his remarks, the leader of the Team, who is also the Commission’s Head of Personnel, Mr. Inwang Inyang, commended Obong Ekpo for leadership style and also thanked the party for the warm reception, adding that they were “impressed that the party is leaving up to expectation.”

The Team was also presented with the party’s monthly publication, The Scroll, and 2018 Calendars as mementoes by the State Chairman of the Party.
