… Appeals For Peace And Level Playing Field In Ekiti Election

National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, has extolled Governor Udom Emmanuel for his excellence in the administration of his state and contributions to the party at all levels.
Prince Secondus made the commendation on Thursday when he called on the Akwa Ibom State Governor at the Government House, Uyo.
In his remarks, the National Chairman expressed and satisfaction with the rate of development in the state and the various contributions that Governor Emmanuel has made towards repositioning the party at all levels, especially as the 2019 general elections draw near.
He further informed that he was in Akwa Ibom to inquire about the level of preparation in the state towards the forthcoming Ekiti elections, saying “there is no room for defeat in the forthcoming election as the National Leadership of the party is ready to complement the effort of the Ekiti Election’s Committee.”
The National Chairman used the medium to appeal for peace and a level playing field for all those that will be participating actively in the elections.
Responding, Governor Emmanuel, who is also the Charman of the National Election Committee for Ekiti elections, said the party is prepared for victory in Ekiti and added that “victory must come on the platform of peace. All that needed to be done lawfully has been done and victory is certain.”
