Chairman of Nsit Ibom Local Government Council Mr. Eric Akpan, has appointed 22 Special Assistants and Personal Assistants to assist in the running of the local government administration.
While congratulating the appointees, Mr. Eric stressed the need for them to live up to the responsibilities of their new offices and added that they be loyal by not betraying the great confidence reposed in them.
Speaking further, he advised the aides to eschew all forms of crime and issues that will dent the image of the Local Government and the state at large.
Those appointed included Comrade Edidiong Udofot (Chief of Staff), Mr. Chris Moffat (Chief Press Secretary), Mr. Kufre Emah (SA, Special Duties), Barrister Utomi Essien (SA, Legal matters), Edikan Victor (SA, Media), Comrade Victor Ndah (SA, General Duties), Mr. Akan Johnson (SA, General Duties), Mrs. Blessing Ekong (SA, Women Affairs), Idongesit Ekwere (SA, Security), Akaninyene Uko (SA, Political matters), and Rev. Friday Okure (SA, Religious Matters).
Others are Comrade Bright Udokang (Chief Protocol), Ekomobong Akpan (SA, Protocol), Nsikan Bassey (SA, Protocol), Omodot Ndem (PA, Protocol), Kufre Etuk (PA, Protocol), Imeobong Joshua (PA, Protocol), Mbetnse Akpan (PA, Protocol), Utibe Isang (PA, Protocol), Samuel Okpon (PA, Protocol), Princewill Orok (PA, Protocol) and Mmeti Sunday (PA, Protocol).
