NIPR HOLDS ROUNDTABLE ON A’IBOM OFFICIAL EMBLEM, ANTHEM, FLAG ON FRIDAY

The Akwa Ibom State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has kick-started its series of Roundtables, where topical national and local issues of interest will be discussed.

According to a statement signed by the State Chairman, Mr. Nsemeke Udoakpan, the Roundtables will give stakeholders in the Akwa Ibom project, members of the Institute and the public the opportunity to assess leadership and governance at the local, state and national levels to see the gains and challenges of development, and make recommendations.

The statement hinted that the series of the Roundtable, scheduled for Friday, November 20, 2020, at 2pm, will be a discussion platform to interrogate and synergize on the recently launched State Emblem (Coat of Arms), Anthem and Flag.

The statement further hinted that the Roundtable, which will take place at the Image House, Information Drive, Uyo, will hold under the Chairmanship of Professor Des Wilson with Professor Peter Esuh of the Department of Communication Arts, University of Uyo, as Lead Speaker.

“The State Chapter of NIPR has penciled down stakeholders from the culture and tourism sectors; makers of the Emblem, Flag and Anthem; professionals and great minds as discussants including Mr. Cletus Ukpong of Premium Times, Professor Best Ochigbo and Dr Ansalem Nyah of the University of Uyo,” the statement stated.
