More youths from Eket Federal Constituency have benefitted from Governor Udom Emmanuel’s benevolence through the Divine Mandate Community Service, as they smiled home with financial and material assistance.
The palliatives were distributed to the beneficiaries on behalf of the Governor at the Council Secretariat, Abat in ONNA local government area by the State Youth Caucus Leader/Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Matters, Comrade Aniefiok Iwa Udofia and the Special Assistant to the Governor on Research and Documentation, Mr. Essien Ndueso.
The Governor’s aides commended them for eschewing vices such as cultism, kidnapping, armed robbery, banditary, saying their peaceful disposition accounts for the development in the area, and urged them to continue supporting Governor Udom Emmanuel in his drive to industrialize and develop Akwa Ibom State.
The youths were advised to adhere strictly to Covid19 precautionary measures as listed by NCDC and the state government to avoid community spread of the virus.
ln their response, the youths were appreciative of the Governor’s large heart and vowed to remain supportive of his administration.
The Divine Mandate Community Service is a vehicle which Governor Emmanuel has used to reach out to the less privileged and vulnerable members of the society through food items and financial assistance since 2015.
