IBOM AIR TO BOOST OPERATIONS WITH NEW CRJ900 AIRCRAFT – ETTEH SAYS

Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Special Duties, Rt. Hon. Okpolupm Etteh, on Wednesday, announced the arrival of the 4th CRJ900 aircraft to the fleet of IbomAir, the state carrier, to boost its operations.

 

Disclosing the development to journalists in Uyo in a telephone conversation, the Commissioner said “4th Bombardier CRJ 900 aircraft in Lagos. The aircraft arrived Lagos from Calgary, Canada at 10:48 pm local time, Tuesday evening.”

 

Rt. Hon. Etteh, who restated Governor Udom Emmanuel’s Commitment and determination to industrialize the state through the aviation sector, noted that the aircraft will further ease the burden of travel in the country.

 

This is yet another feat and a testament to Governor Udom Emmanuel’s vision of Akwa ibom without oil, an economic diversification project,” he said
