A non-governmental organization, 1001+ Voices Initiative for People Empowerment, has expressed support for the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel.
The group also hailed the Governor as a Leader who is innately endowed with selfless leadership disposition by promoting, defending, and upholding the rights of the people for the common interest with an undying passion for service to humanity.
A representative of the group, Obong Ide Owodiong- Idemeko, who is also a leading aspirant for Senate from Uyo Senatorial District in the 2019 general elections, has extolled the qualities of the Governor.
Obong Owodiong-Idemeko, an accomplished Human Resources Administrator and Professional expressed his support in a message of solidarity and loyalty to Governor Udom Emmanuel adding that his second term bid as the Governor of the state is a done deal.
He commended the state Governor for his impactful leadership since assumption of office imploring Governor Udom not to be derailed with recent events in the political spheres of the State advising him to remain focused in helping the state attain its potential.
The Senate Aspirant advised Governor Udom Emmanuel to be aware of fifth columnist and moles that may have been tactically left behind in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at this time to divulge the strategies of the party while waiting for an appropriate time to defect.
He described Governor Udom as extravagantly graced to excellence saying that he is a perfect impression of good governance.
Obong Owodiong-Idemeko noted Governor Udom’s desire to serve God and visionary leadership style that has made him stand out among his peers in the federation hence his unparalleled feat in the provision of democratic dividend to the people of the state.
He commended Governor Udom for his industrialisation agenda which has yielded positive output for the state and nation in general.
Obong Owodiong-Idemeko stated that it is now necessary for the people of the state to support his government and give him the mandate to continue in office till 2023 for the overall good of the state.
He assured Governor Udom of his loyalty and that of the people of Uyo Senatorial district as a community that believes in democracy and justice.
