FOUR-POINT BY SHERATON: A’IBOM GOVT TASKS MANAGERS ON SERVICE DELIVERY

Akwa Ibom State Government has tasked managers of Four-Point by Sheraton, Ikot Ekpene, to keep to its terms of agreement on the maintenance of the facility in line with international best practices and standard.

Speaking recently during a meeting with managers of the facility, Ronesans Company Limited Company (responsible for the routine maintenance of the facility) and Marriott’s Group (responsible for the running of the hotel), the State Commissioner for Special Duties, Rt. Hon. Okpolupm Etteh, urged both team to make good their commitments.

While also urging them to give their best, the Commissioner said the state government “is committed to the optimum performance of the facility.”

He further appealed to the Marriott’s Group to hasten its recruitment processes for immediate takeover and commence full operation, adding that “all the aspects on the maintenance checklist will soon be completed.”

Responding, the Project Manager of Ronesans Company Limited Company said the company was strategizing to ensure that all aspects of the facilities are put in perfect condition before the delivery date.

Mr. Robb of the Marriott’s Group, who briefed the Commissioner on the status of its recruitment process, said it will be done online on the consent of its head office.
The Head of Projects Implementation Directorate in the Ministry of Special Duties, Engr. Udosen, urged the Marriott’s Group to be thorough in their assessment of the facility to avoid further delay.
