FORMER EKET PDP YOUTH LEADER, 50 OTHERS DECAMPS TO THE APC

It was a pandemonium in PDP Eket Ward 3 Urban in Eket Local Governments Area of Akwa Ibom State on Friday, as a strong youth leader, 50 others decamped to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

 

Prince Ebitu Anweidghe-abasi, a political youth leader who decamped on Friday to the cited APC cthe injustice and poor performance of the former party (PDP) in the past 16yrs.

 

He thanked the President, Mohammed Buhari for effective leadership and performance within two years of his administration, sighting the ongoing APC led federal government anti-corruption fight and development in the region.

 

Prince Anweidghe-abasi also thanked Hon. Dr. Emem Wills who is also the political leader of the Ward for accepting him into the party in a warm welcome ceremony.

 

The local government chapter leader of the party Mr. Godwin Akwaowo who accepted and welcomed the new members urge them to be an example of a change advocate in the society towards realizing the change begins with me mentality, he also encouraged the mobilization for voters registration especially for those who had no voters card.

 

He therefore commended the President Mohammed Buhari for approving the construction of Calabar-Itu, Ikot Ekpene highway as a testimony of a good governance.

 

He condemned every establishment of so called Real APC paraded by Former Sen. James Akpan Udoedeghe and banned any signpost of the said group from the area.

 

The occasion which had the attendance of high dignitaries and party chieftains including Hon. Bassey Dan Abia(jnr) who advised the new members to abide by the rules of the party.
