EPHRAIM INYANG CONDOLES WITH FAMILY OF LATE ESSIEN ESEMA

COMMISSIONER for Works, Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Ephraim Inyang, has expressed his deep sorrow over the death of the immediate-past Senior Special Assistant on Petroleum Matters to the Governor and pioneer International President, Transformation Initiative for the Empowerment of Ibom People (TIEIP), Obong (Barr.) Essien Joseph Esema.

Mr. Inyang, who is also the Board of Trustees Chairman of TIEIP; a foremost socio-political organization, on Tuesday, extended his condolences to the great Esema family as well as the people of Nsit Ubium LGA; where the deceased hailed from.

Noting that the elder statesman devoted a better part of his life to the development of Akwa Ibom and Nigeria, he stressed that the late Esema contributed meaningfully to national development in the various capacities he served while he lived.

“The Inyangs and the entire TIEIP family are terribly saddened by the death of our beloved friend, brother and leader. Barr. Essien Esema, a devout Christian was graceful in mien, urbane in character, polished in personality, beautiful in spirit and committed to his family, Akwa Ibom project, legal profession, protection of human rights and service to vulnerable persons especially orphans.

“I join friends and well-wishers of the Esema family in prayers for the repose of the soul of the departed icon and urge the family to take solace in the assurance that we will meet again on the day of resurrection as recorded in John Chapter 5:28, 29”, Inyang said in his condolence note.

According to the family, Obongunwana Essien Esema died at the age of sixty, leaving behind a wife, five young Children and a host of other relations to mourn his painful exit.
