Enobong Uwah Charges worshippers on continuous adherence to WHO/CAN guidelines

The AKSG Covid-19 monitoring team through the team leader, Prince Enobong Uwah has called on worshippers in Uyo Capital City to adhere to WHO/CAN guidelines inorder to prevent the spread of the dreaded virus in churches.

The Monitoring team earlier today, carried out its routine monitoring exercise within Uyo Capital city to evaluate the level of adherence to CAN guidelines and also sensitized worshippers on the need to stay safe while in church.

Otuekong Enobong Uwah said, with the information emanating from WHO, that there are no specific vaccines for Covid-19, worshippers should readjust to the new normal.

He pleaded with various church leaders to
enforce compulsory use of nose masks, provide alcohol based hand sanitizers, running water and maintain social distance during service.

Rev. Dr. Nduese Ekwere, Dr. Mrs Stella Udoh and Bishop Emmanuel as well as other officials were on hand to conduct the checks in churches visited.

The monitoring team visited The Presbyterian Church, Idoro rd, Christian Fellowship Evang. Inc, Hiltop of Glory Covenant Ministry Int’l, The Apostolic Church, Udo Eduok, Destiny Chapel, St. Patrick Catholic Church, Afaha Inang, Apostolic Church Obio Imo, Covenant City Mbierebe, Grace Family, United Evangelical Church Idoro, road and many other churches.
