The long awaited public presentation of a book chronicling the life and times of an erstwhile Governor of Cross River State and Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Dr Clement Isong has been announced.
According to the event Coordinator, *Dr Udeme Nana* , the official presentation of the book entitled *“DR CLEMENT ISONG: A LIFE OF INTEGRITY, DISCIPLINE & PUBLIC SERVICE”,* is scheduled to hold on Friday, 16th August, 2019 at the Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja, by 12:00hours.
The epochal presentation would be carried out under the distinguished chairmanship of *General Yakubu Gowon, GCFR, Nigeria’s former Head of State,* while *President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR and his Vice, Prof Yemi Osinbajo* are expected as Special Guests of Honour.
Among other top dignitaries expected to grace the event include Former Heads of State, Governors of all the 36 States of the Federation, the Senate President and Senators, the Speaker, Federal House of Representatives and Representatives from across the Federation, Members of the State House of Assembly, Local Government Chairmen, Heads of Government Ministries and Parastatals, Captains of Industries, the academia and other well-meaning individuals.
According to *Dr Nana* , another highlight of the event would be the presentation of awards of excellence on integrity, discipline and public service to some eminent Nigerians.
Invited guests are expected to be seated by 12.00 noon at the event organized by The Clement Isong Foundation (TCIF).
