According to the Commissioner, “the decision to disinfect all the offices in the Ministry is to help reduce the risk of exposing workers in the Ministry to the spread of the dreaded COVID-19 or any other viral infections.”
Rt. Hon. Etteh commended Governor Udom Emmanuel’s stride in the fight against the pandemic and urged workers in the Ministry to abide by NCDC safety guidelines, including social distancing and proper personal hygiene.
In his remarks, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Engr. Richard Ekpe, who lauded the Commissioner for prioritizing the safety of his workers, urged all and sundry in the Ministry to diligently follow communication on their work schedules and act accordingly.
