Airport College International, an affiliate of HOTT Helsinki Airport, Finland, has certified Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Special Duties, Rt. Hon. Okpolupm Etteh, fit on COVID-19 protocol for airport operation.
According to the Institution’s Head of Regulatory Compliance, Mr. Jan Kappi, “the certificate shows that Rt. Hon. Etteh has successfully passed the E-Learning Course on Coronavirus (COVID-19).”
The certification also informed that “This Course is based on internationally recognized guidelines from governing bodies including WHO, IATA, EASA and FAA. The Course includes Introduction, From Disease to Pandemic, Preventive Measures, Emergency Response and Final Test.”
Speaking, Rt. Hon. Etteh said his decision to take up the course was borne out of his quest to understand and equip himself with COVID-19 protocol for airport operation.
Explaining, Rt. Hon. Etteh, a Fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), said “I had to undertake an E-Learning course with Airport College.com to fully arm myself for the task ahead, specifically, as the Victor Attah International Airport prepares to reopen for business.”
