The member representing Mkpat Enin State Constituency in Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Hon. Otobong Ndem has reaffirmed the support of people of Eket Senatorial District for Governor Udom Emmanuel.

The lawmaker gave the assurance during the Eket Senatorial Town Hall meeting on Government Projects Impact Awareness Campaign hosted by the Directorate of Marketing & Brand Management, Office of the Governor at the Mkpat Enin Unity Hall.

“What you have seen here today is a clear indication that Eket Senatorial District is in total support of Governor Udom Emmanuel. It is irreversible.”

Hon. Ndem, who is the Chairman, House Services Committee, further noted that the reward for a good work is more work, adding that Governor Udom Emmanuel’s impressive performance in less than two years has earned him the trust and support of Akwa Ibom people.

“What we have in the Dakkada brochure represents 20‰ of what Governor Udom Emmanuel has done for Eket Senatorial District in less than two years. Let me reiterate that Uyo had two terms and Ikot Ekpene also had two terms.

“For the singular reason that Governor Udom Emmanuel is doing very well, the people of Eket Senatorial District and the entire people of Akwa Ibom will return Governor Udom for second-term come 2019”.

The lawmaker also urged the people of Eket Senatorial District to start preparing for 2019 by taking full advantage of the ongoing voters registration exercise by ensuring every eligible voter gets his or her voter’s card.

“The voters registration is ongoing so anybody who wants to show his  support for Governor Udom Emmanuel come 2019, must have his or her voter’s card. So, I want to urge everybody who is yet to get their card, to take advantage of this opportunity and get their card because 2019 election will be one man, one vote.”
