Youths of Amayam Clan in Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State under the aegis of Supreme Council of Amayam Youths, have completed preparations to hold a grand rally, to celebrate Governor Udom Emmanuel’s victory at the polls, at Methodist Central School on Tuesday.
The First Lady of the state, Deaconess Martha Udom Emmanuel; member representing Ikot Ekpene/Obot Akara in the State House of Assembly, Mr. Idongesit Ntekpere; State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Obong Paul Ekpo, and his Publicity Secretary, Comrade Ini Ememobong, will grace the event as quests.
Other dignitaries expected at the event include Commissioner for Science and Technology, Prof. Nse Essien; Special Adviser on Political and Legislative Affairs, Pastor Sunny Ibuot; Political Leader of the area, Rev Otuekong Ukut; Chairman of Ikot Ekpene Local Government Council, Mr.Unyime Etim; members elect for Senate and House of Representatives, Dr Chris Ekpenyong and Mr. Nsikak Ekong; Senator Emmanuel Ibok-Essien; Mr. David Okon; Chairman of Ibom Power, Engr. Etido Inyang; Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Sustainable Development, Ntufam Elijah Iyak; Paramount Ruler of Ikot Ekpene, Akuku Okon Ukut; Mr. Kenneth Nyong among others.
According to an invite by the Chairman and Secretary of the Central Planning Committee, Mr. Nsisong Ebienang and Mr. Dennis Nyoro, the youths want to make the rally a huge success by gathering thousands elders, stakeholders, youths, women and socio-political groups as well as residents of Ikot Ekpene to celebrate the Governor’s victory.
