AKWA UNITED TO PLAY HILLS FC, HEARTLAND IN FRIENDLIES

 

As part of preparations for the second stanza of the Nigeria Professional Football League, Akwa United FC will play two friendlies to get the team back in good shape.

 

The Promise Keepers will today Wednesday May 10th 2017 play this year’s Akwa Ibom state Federation Cup semifinalist, Hills FC at the training pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International stadium at 4pm.

 

Akwa United will on Thursday May 11th 2017 battle Nigeria National League side Heartland FC of Owerri at the Dan Anyiam stadium at 4pm.

 

The NPFL highflyers who won the 2017 Akwa Ibom state Federation Cup on Sunday are on a mid season break and Coach Abdu Maikaba will use the two games to ascertain the fitness level of his players ahead of their NPFL match day 20 fixture against MFM of Lagos next weekend in Lagos.
