A’IBOM ELECTIONS: UKPONG-UDO, LUKE GRAB REP SEATS

Speaker of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Barrister Onofiok Luke, and philanthropist, Obong Emmanuel Ukpong-Udo, have emerged winners of their respective Federal Constituency seats.

While Barrister Luke grabbed the seat for Etinan/Nsit Ibom/Nsit Ubium Federal Constituency with 44,830 votes against 15,800 votes for Daniel Akpan of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Obong Ukpong-Udo completely floored candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Barrister Edidiong Idiong, with 21,622 votes against 7,997 votes, to get Ikono/INI Federal Constituency seat.
