ACA: NSE UBEH TAKES CAMPAIGN TO CHURCHES, CANVASSES VOTES FOR UDOM, PDP

Ahead of the forthcoming general elections, the Akwa Ibom Christian Assembly (ACA) on Sunday, continued it active campaign in churches in Etinan Local Government Area, canvassing for votes for Governor Udom Emmanuel’s reelection as well as other PDP candidates.

Speaking during the campaign at the various churches visited, such as Methodist Church Nigeria, Southern Iman Circuit, The Salvation Army, Etinan Corps, Mount Zion Church Mission, Ikot Esoh and First African Church, Ikot Abasi No 1, one of the fathers in ACA in the area, Elder Nse Ubeh thanked God for using Governor Udom Emmanuel to bring developments to the State whom he described a great leader and a man of uncommon leadership virtues who respects God.

Elder Nse Ubeh urged church members of the area to vote massively for Governor Udom Emmanuel and other candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the State, stressing that the Governor is a good and God fearing man with humility and candour.

Ubeh while expressing his gratitude to the Governor for giving Etinan it due pride of place in the scheme of things and giving sons and daughters of the area a sense of belonging, prayed God to give the Governor good health, strength, wisdom even as he vowed that PDP will win landslide in the area.

According to him, “Udom has brought peace to Akwa Ibom State that is why the church has resolved that Udom should go back for a second term.”

In his speech, the coordinator of ACA in Etinan Local Government Area, Rev. Idongesit Utin informed the congregations that the church is solidly behind the candidacy of Governor Udom Emmanuel and other PDP candidates.

Rev. Utin equally appealed to the congregations to remember the Governor in prayers and give him 100 per cent votes to return to the hill top mansion.

The ACA coordinator, who sought the continued support of church members in the coming elections for the Governor, reassured them of the Governor’s administration commitment to render more selfless service that will impact lives positively in the area.

Meanwhile, the ACA team will continue the church-to-church campaign on Sunday which will cut across the remaining wards in the area.
